New spring cocktails: a Virgin Margarita, and Cuban Daiquiri
A couple of new additions were surreptitiously added to our cocktail menu in February, just in time for the start of spring.
This includes our first non-alcoholic drink - and it's delicious! A Virgin Margarita, made with fresh limes and orange juice, and homemade chilli syrup. It's not too spicy, but it does have a slightly electrifying spark on the tongue.
Our mocktails are designed to be enjoyed at any occasion, particularly those when you want to enjoy a drink, just not an alcoholic one. A super delicious alternative to sugary soft drinks or boring tap water.
We also offer a Virgin Mary option of our Bloody Mary, without the vodka, but with extra seasoning. And it's bloody tasty.
Elsewhere, we expanded our classic cocktail range to include our first rum-based drink: a classic daiquiri.
The classic daiquiri – white rum, fresh lime juice and sugar – likely originated in Cuba at the turn of the 1900s.
An American engineer hosting a cocktail party had run out of gin for his punch, so instead added white rum, of which there was no shortage.
“What is this delicious drink?” his delighted guests wanted to know. Stumped for anything better, he named it for a nearby beach, the Daiquiri.
A legendary drink was born. And now, with Moonshine Delivery, you can taste the stuff of legends for yourself.
